Another BBQ Pit Boys inspired meal I had done on Friday night. I made up some of their Fireball Whiskey Meatballs.

Rolled out meatballs from 80/20 ground beef mixed with Tatonka Dust, minced garlic and Fireball Whiskey then wrapped in bacon, sprinkled with Jeff's Rub and onto the kettle at around 350 degrees indirect with a chunk of hickory. Injected with more Fireball 30 minutes into the smoke.

This was a fun one and turned out great, however not as much of a cinnamon whiskey flavor as I expected, I will be injecting them with more next time!

Thanks for looking!

Duke shame on you wasting that fireball injecting it.sounds good but I think a little ground would kick it up more.Points for making me get another crazy idea

Thanks for the points, Richie.

Don't worry, the cook had his share of the Fireball also

Great idea!

Now I'm thinking of all kinds of whiskey I can inject into all kinds of things.

My mind is racing!!

POINTS DB!

Great looking meatballs! My Sous chef wants to make some this weekend! His will be sans the whiskey though!

Points!

Thanks Al!

I can't take credit for the idea, but I'm for anything involving smoked meat and whiskey.

Thanks Case!

As Richie said, ground cinnamon would do the trick probably more efficiently .

Wow! That recipe looks like a lot of fun! Points!! I've used maple bourbon to glaze ribs, but never injected booze into anything!

Great idea. Sound great. POINTS.
