YES! After considerable research, last night I snagged a used WSM 18.5 w/ accessories for $200. I saved some cash and can skip the seasoning step. I have a good friend at work (Oly) who has been my inspiration and smoke mentor. Another friend leant me the great Smoking Meats book. I'm off to the coast for the weekend, but I'm excited to get smokin' next week.

Congrats on your new smoker. They put out some good Q!
Will be looking forward to some details of some of your smokes.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from another hot day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
