I have been reading a book that teaches you the four essential things needed to have great tasting food, so I tried something,
marinated the chicken legs a chardonnay and paprika.
had them marinating for about 4 hours.
and done.
they came out pretty well, could have used more paprika...

so decided to move the griddle next to the grill in the "L" pattern. kept flipping on this or putting them in an "I".
the "L" allows the table to be placed so no one is sitting to close to them when their hot. what do you think.

Brined this whole chicken of a 1 cup salt 1 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup lemon juice. for about 8 hours sorry I didn't get a picture of that.
after seasoning with thyme under and on top of skin, and paprika on skin only.

with today being a really nice day warm. i decided to male some stir fry on my Blackstone griddle.
the prep full disclosure i bought it pre cut. added dark soy sauce sesame oil and Chinese's five spice.
just put on griddle

I originally made this for red meats, game and others. trying it on a pork butt.
2 TBSP ground coffee
2 tsp flake salt
1.5 tsp red pepper flakes
1 TBSP thyme
2 TBSP onion flakes
2 TBSP garlic powder

So the burners on my gaser are not working well, the rest of it is in pretty good condition, normally I would just replace them. but i have been considering buying a flat top. I could probably change it to a wood/charcoal grill. so i came here for opinions, one more bit of info I've used...
