I have been reading a book that teaches you the four essential things needed to have great tasting food, so I tried something,

marinated the chicken legs a chardonnay and paprika.

had them marinating for about 4 hours.

they came out pretty well, could have used more paprika. also should have add some salt after putting on the grill.

Chicken looks great! I use wine in brines for chicken, but not white wine as a marinade.

Those look pretty good from here!

When marinating or brining you can always season a little heavily with all your seasonings except salt if the liquid you are brining or marinating with has sodium/salt in it (avoid seasoning with salt in such a case).

Do that and your seasoning flavor will be fine with the liquid you add. No need to measure how much goes into the liquid because you already know how much you put on the meat :D The "little heavily" part of seasoning is so that when adding the liquid things to get too bland with liquid diluting things.

Again, just remember to not add seasonings with salt if your liquid will have the salt. This means no seasoning salt, no garlic salt, no seasoning blends with salt, etc. I harp on this because I have family members that make this mistake not understanding what I am saying :D
