We got rid of the pool and AC when the kiddos moved out. Kind of wished we kept the pool, but it was a pain to maintain, and as for the AC. Haven't missed it at all.I bill be north of $1000 in electric this month, between pool, AC and pond
I actually want a pool heater/chiller when water temps get above 90 I would like to cool it downWe got rid of the pool and AC when the kiddos moved out. Kind of wished we kept the pool, but it was a pain to maintain, and as for the AC. Haven't missed it at all.

Ours was an above ground. I think a 28'. We used to toss a couple of big ice chunks in it on really hot days. They didn't cool the whole pool down, but they did a great job on a small section or so.I actually want a pool heater/chiller when water temps get above 90 I would like to cool it down

I will have to look into redneck engineering one of those.I had a 9 person with the blower setup on it . Pumps outside air into the tub . In the summer , you turn the heater all the way down , then you can run the blower and get in . Pretty nice really .
I budget my electric bill , so it's the same every month . So I'm not real sure how much it used , but I think my bill dropped about 25 bucks after I got rid of it .
