Our 5th wheel made it through Irma with no damage. Small trees and branches down, lake pretty full.

Hope everyone in Irmas path did well.

Rick That is good to hear,Smoking Al is the only one missing that I know of

Glad to hear everything is good your way. Be careful of the residual effects(sink holes etc.). Still waiting to hear from some of my old friends..

Thanks

I have not yet heard from Al or other members from further north or south FL. Hope they all made it ok.

I was out driving around, we dont realize how good we have it for just the basics until we dont have it. Gas is avail but no water, ice or basics. The 4 wallys i went to were empty on all the basics. One of them had 0 produce.

Hope Florida members can check in soon.

Rick, morning...  Glad all is OK with you folks...   Pineywoods is OK...   storm just grazed them....

My SIL & BIL had some shrubs damaged but they had power when they went back to Cape Coral

Once Irma got onto solid ground she lost her punch some. We drove down to Wellington yesterday (south of Boca) So much damage. Gas is avail, still water hard to get. The toll roads are suspended until further notice. Gov Scott and all the people involved did a great job. The state troopers and local police should get a big thank you as they are keeping road rage to a min. EMT, power folks from all over the country, Military are doing a fantastic job, the list can go on.

Glad to hear you came out OK Rick.

At first it looked like you were gonna get a direct hit, but we ended up getting the brunt of the storm.

Still cleaning up, water & gas are becoming easier to get, but food is in short supply.

But that's OK, you can buy all the beer you can carry, & every store has peanut butter, bread & chips.

Plus I have a couple of freezers full of stuff, so we will be OK too.

Al
