Most that know me, know its been a year from h*ll at best.

My dog has been ill since late May, various issues. He would show improvement, then get worse than before. Repeatedly. Lots of testing, imaging, etc. to no avail. He eventually stopped eating and drinking, so no bowel movement, no urinating. We finally made the very hard decision to put him down, he had been through enough. Kona was just over 10.

Its very sad, our other lab is only a year younger at 9 years old. He seems to not comprehend that he is alone now.

Condolences to all that loved the dog. It is never easy to make the decision to put a dog down, but you make the decision with the best interests of the dog at heart. I have put down 2...it sucks. Hang in there...

Sorry that you had to make the tough decision. It is always a complete bummer, but know that you gave him the best life possible.
My condolences to your family 🙏

Sorry to hear about your dog. Had to do the same with our's last year. Really sucks.

Sorry to hear! It's the only bad thing about being a pet owner. Hard to do right now but eventually you'll be able to remember all the fun and love he brought to the family!

So sorry my friend, you’ve certainly been thru more than most should have to endure. Beautiful pup, RIP Kona! Dave, always here if you need to chat.

My heart goes out to you and yours. One of life's most difficult moments despite knowing the decision was arrived at out of love.

Sorry to hear this Dave. I hope you guys will get some peace soon. Hang in there brother.

That sucks Dave, you have certainly had a year to test your internal fortitude. I really hope things start looking up soon.

I'm so sorry you lost your dog. Just the thought of having to make that decision brings tears to my eyes.

Sorry for your loss! My daughter has a aging Labs (Duke) 14y. Daisy is two years behind. Both blonde.
