Coming from England we did not even barbecue let alone smoke when I was growing up.   I can see why people are so passionate about their mastery.  

Well I am 63 years old now living in Geneva, Illinois and just purchased the Smokin Brothers pellet grill.  I have lots to learn and it gets confusing so hopefully this forum will be my guiding light.

Its made in America.  Its a heavy well constructed piece and I was able to get it locally.  I got the 24 inch Premier model with the digital controller.  Very easy to use.

I almost got the Traeger.
