Been hot humid and miserable in eastern nc all summer. And seems to rain every day. I sure do miss my 80* Michigan summers
I mispoke. That is a quaterly water bill. My mistake.Couple of weeks ago we had quite a few days of high humidity and the heat index around 120℉. Then this front moved in and now it rains everyday...and LOTS of rain. I ran several charters where the morning temps were mid 60s in the last couple of weeks. Seems this week we may be getting back closer to normal with afternoon thunderstorms and the temps from mid 70s in the mornings to low 90s in the afternoon...that is until the thunderstorm pops up and cools things down.
$475?? That's seems crazy! That would be the cost for 3-4 months for us...
Every day right? Having a hard time just seeing the steps in the morningNuttin like gittin out of yer truck or walkin outside from house and glasses instantly fog!

Did our grocery shopping at Safeway there. You know it! I at Conifer.
We've had below normal temps all summer. And a bit above average rainfall. But that's nothing " crazy " here. Just another summer in Oklahoma.
Knock on wood, so far our temps have been at least 20* cooler than last summer. Thank God, because I can't handle 105* plus, it kicks my ass.
We get some crazy heat waves until the end of Oct out here, I hope it doesn't happen this yr. Most of our summer has been in the 80s, instead of 105* plus, I'm loving it!!!
Nice! We are on the other side of 285, usually hit King Soopers.Did our grocery shopping at Safeway there.
And had to keep a look out for the herd of Elk crossing the road.
As a fellow Northern California citizen I have been very happy with our "seasonally cool" weather. I'll take it over the years where we were in the 100's in April.
Last summer about killed me, our AC was on more than it was off.As a fellow Northern California citizen I have been very happy with our "seasonally cool" weather. I'll take it over the years where we were in the 100's in April.
