The Liberty Belle B-17 bomber. 56K Beware!

Today, I took my daughter to see the Liberty Belle, which was in town for the weekend. Here are a few pics from the ground tour.

I would have loved to go up for a ride, but thats $450 I didn't have. Nonetheless, a good experience for me and my daughter.

Probably the best moment of the day was, seeing the look on the face of a Veteran. He was a ball turret gunner, on a similar bomber, who got a salute from me, and a thank you, and handshake from my girl. I'll never forget it.

Glad ya's liked. I got about 150 pics for the time I was there, but these represent the gist of the experience. I would have loved to stick around long enough to see her taxi, and take off, but alas a 4 year old only has so much attention span.
