Steak & Taters (Leftover Special)
This is definitely one of my favorite Leftover Meals.
I like to say I invented it, because I never saw it anywhere else.
It starts out with some leftover Meat & leftover Baked Potato.
I’ve done this with Beef, Pork, Scallops, Shrimp, and other things. They all go Great with the Taters done like this.
This time it was some leftover Ribeye, and an extra Baked Potato I had Mrs Bear make a couple nights before when we had Baked Taters with another meal.
So I slice up a leftover Baked Tater into slices about 3/8” Thick.
Then I cut the leftover Steak into pieces about 1/4” X about 2” or less.
Then I put some Butter in a pan, and spread the Tater Slices out in one layer in the pan.
I keep the pan Really Hot, and flip the Tater slices over a few times, until I get a nice dark crispy surface on each slice.
Then I remove the Tater slices, and dump the Meat Pieces into the leftover Butter & Tater Juices that are left in the pan.
I flip the Meat pieces around a few times, and remove them when they are all Bubbly & Juicy.
Then I line the Tater slices around the perimeter of a plate, and Dump the Meat Pieces into the center of the plate.
That’s it—Easy Peasy, but tastes Great !!
Thanks for stopping by,
Bear
