Does anyone have a good spicy turkey meatball recipe I can steal?

We are having to make some dietary changes at the house due to a recent health scare and my wife was wanting a spicy turkey meatball recipe.

Honestly, it wont hurt either of us to change our diets, age, lack of exercise, etc catches up to you, so trying to find some alternatives to the traditional pork/beef meatballs that I normally make.

This is a keeper for me . The formula is in a link to the meatloaf thread . I made a few adjustments , but nothing major . I list them in the meatloaf thread . Not spicey , but you can handle that addition .

I'll ask why , as in what are you trying to avoid ? Mostly because if it's fat content you'll have to make some changes to the grind percentages . Like no dark meat or skin . Store bought , if avoiding fat content should be all white meat .

So, my wife had a heart attack this past Saturday and that put a pretty good scare into both of us. I do most of the cooking and I have a tendency to cook more red meat than anything else. I already have high cholesterol and now she too is on cholesterol meds, so those are some of the factors to the change.

Ill have to give a good look at that recipe, thank you.

Side note, she is home resting and overall she is doing pretty good considering everything that happened this past week.

Sorry to hear that . I started to add a " Nothing personal " above to my wondering why question .
It's scary , and I hope her back better than ever .

That recipe is a good flavor profile . If you're looking to lower the fat try it with all white meat . If you're not grinding your own , make sure you're buying the right mix from the store . I think it will say 100 % white meat or something like that .
Some of the ground poultry is pretty close to ground beef in fat percentage .

No worries, I dont mind the questions.

I appreciate the recipe. I think the 100% white meat which is like 98% fat free, just have to make up for the moisture that would come from the fat, but guess a bit of mayo helps that along.
