Did this awhile back . Same recipe as in the meatloaf thread .
Saw Brian BrianGSDTexoma talking about doing another one , so figured I'd post this up as another option .
Started with a whole bird ,
Sometimes I let the weight of the bird help break it down .
Hold by the leg and make a cut with a sharp knife .
The joint will pop , and finish it off with the knife .
Makes it easy .
Do the wings the same ,
If it doesn't pop , give it a bit of a shake ,
Thighs come off easy . Not much holds them on .
OK , enough of that .
Ground up and mix per the Meatloaf thread .
I baked these off in the oven , but smoked or grilled would be great .
Temped out at 165 . This smells so good .
Boiled up some bow tie pasta , steamer bag of broccoli ,
and a jar of store bought alfredo . Be great with gravy , or on a sandwich too .
