Two spatchcocked chickens - one seasoned with Lawry's Seasoning IMG_20180824_173542403.jpg

And the other with Pork Barrel BBQ

And a shot of the juiciness!

First time doing a whole chicken, let alone a spatchcocked one. Smoked in the new smoker for 4 hours at 250°.

The new smoker:

Looks great, how did they taste? ,is that a electric pitboss or pellet?

For anyone who hasn't tried a spatchcock, give it a shot. It cooks better than an uncut bird, and it serves well.

Look up chicken tabaka, that's a bird spatchcocked and pressed.

Nice Job on that chicken, and congratulations on the new toy.

Point for sure.

Both were fantastic! Crispy skin and juicy meat all the way through!

And it's a pellet smoker. This is the Copperhead model sold exclusively through Walmart. The hopper holds 60 pounds of pellets which is good for about 40-50 hours of smoke time (or so the manual says).
