Cooked a couple racks of St. Louis style ribs for a buddy who finished my fire pit in the backyard. I knew I couldn’t just give someone ribs, and ribs alone, so I whipped up my first batch of Dutch’s Wicked Baked Beans.

Meat: Spares (2 racks St Louis style)

Smoker: UDS

Fuel: Hickory Kingsford w/ Apple Wood Chunks

Temp: <225

Time: 3-1.45-.45

Rub: Mad Hunky w/ a little plowboys

Sauce: Jeff’s w/ modified heat

Trimmed and rubbed

Here's all the good trimmings for the beans. I applied some rub to these and threw them on the smoker as well

Here they are a little later, w/ some brown sugar on top

After 3 hours on, and ready to foil

Here's the finished product. Glazed w/ some Jeff's sauce

Overall, I was very very pleased with the ribs and beans. I knew the ribs would turn out great since I had to give them away!

The ribs lookawesome and you had some nice pull back. Now for the beans they look pretty good to. I see that you folks ate about half of them. I think that they are even better the next day and my wife loves them cold to. I'm not down with that thou.

Those ribs did turn out perty.  A heck of dent was put in those beans...lol  They are soooo good!
