Happy Happy to your Sister with the hope of many more.
And quite a birthday spread you have there ( I guess for last night ) love every bit of that.
I will send off my date for my big day so you can replicate it again.

It is hard when working to just take the time and do things for yourself..... like fishing. But with your secret fishing hole you showed the other day . Get out there yourself, and take a friend so he can split the gas for a great day of catching.

I've got friends that do the same. They definitely don't get an aged prime ribeye from me.

She's north of 60, I'll leave it at that, but still my baby sister...

Food turned out pretty good, Ryan. Got to take a day for myself and go fishing. I can't really even tell you the last time I reeled in a fish...seriously...

Happy Birthday to your sister! Nice meal you made for her. I know what you mean about the steak. I used to have a few family members who liked theirs burnt and sauces. I used to just buy round steak for them while the rest of us had ribeye or filets lol.

Thank you David for the kind words. One problem I have with fun fishing is most of my friends are charter captains, as well, and most stay booked up from now through the summer and into fall. But I don't mind going alone, Sheila doesn't like it much, though...

I get that Charles , sometimes I really enjoy going out in the boat with just me, big cup of tea ( thermos ) and the radio on some good old country tunes on low. Sometimes throw the hook down and close my eyes for a bit also.

Can't wait until that will happen again, once the camp is built on the property.
Mona loves fishing, and especially hand lining.
She actually bought me my first boat many years ago, nice birthday surprise, ( it was a nice used boat ) and a good starter for the salt water. Had many since than.
