Watched it o CNN this Am. Pretty cool. They said something about $200 K for a seat this morning. Want to do 2 more test flights first.

I just think it's fascinating what private enterprise in this country can do.
Also nice to see these multi-billionaires doing something actually worthwhile with all their money.
If it's all to make a buck, who cares :-)

Saw it myself this morning and I was pretty impressed. From the initial takeoff to the return landing, it was text book flawless.

I understand that the price of a seat on VG is currently quoted at around $250K for initial participants when they're approved and actually start selling passenger seats. By the time that happens the price could change a lot. Whatever that price is, Branson will never recover his investment in VG over the past 14 years and I don't think he ever intended to. To him, I think it's the individual accomplishment of conquering the challenge.

Now, if you want to go big, I understand the price to catch a hop with Jeff Bezos on the initial launch of his Blue Origin space craft is/was $28M. For the ultimate experience, at $55M, you can catch a ride on one of Elon Musk's Space X flights to the ISS.

I had a reminder set to watch the whole flight, and it was quite an experience. I was surprised at how fast they got to mach-1, 2, 3. And then how soon they started the decent. The glider part of the flight and landing appeared to be flawless. But when the landing gear came down, those wheels looked awfully small!
