Trying some new BBQ sauces with some heat (I hope)

Ok this tuff is very good! Nice lasting heat. More heat than expected for sure. Put it on BB ribs with Meat Church Hot Honey Hog rub. Stumbled on it at Scheels.com.

That stuff burns my guts and "O" ring bad, I can't do hotter than jalapeño these days. When I see the hot sauces, some of you make, I'm blown away. 🤯 🤣
I just in the last year started liking some heat. I really like the Melinda flavors but probably won't try their Ghost Pepper.

They did a tasting of Kansas city style BBQ sauce . I saw a bottle of Gates original on the table .
She tasted the first one ,, then the second . When she tasted the second , she choked a little . Lol , I thought that has to be the Gates . It was . She kept going back to it , and picked it as her favorite . S17 E3 if you can get them . Sometimes they're locked out .
Gonna have to find me some Gates when my stomach clears up .

NIce! Im excited to try the gates. I was happily surprised with the Meat Mitch.

My friend Joe owns the local pub that I frequent. He loves hot s**t, too. Me, not so much. I like a little kick, but not so much that I can't breathe.
A while back one of the other regulars gave him a bottle of homemade bbq sauce that I think included some scorpion peppers.
Joe says, "Hey Mike, try some of this!" Ok, I think. I know he likes it hot, so I taste a tiny dab.
Hmm. Not too bad. A little sweet. Some fruitiness in there. Wait.....oh.....uh-oh!
My throat suddenly feels like I've swallowed 80-grit sandpaper that's on fire, and I can't talk.
I frantically signaled for a beer, (which I think might have been his plan all along.) Took 20 minutes, and another beer, before the pain completely went away. :emoji_dizzy_face:

We're still friends, though.
