Soup and cornbread

Rainy gloomy day. Soup and cornbread on the agenda. Used a tri tip i smoked a couple of weeks ago and froze. And of course ya gotta have cornbread. lil jalapeño and cheese sticks and a pan of cheese cornbread to breakup into the soup.

It's almost soup time here. Our maples have turned color and have been dropping leaves for at least a week. That soup looks mighty good, but tri-tip is to valuable for us to use in soup.

@gmc2003 Chris I actually bought 2 of the prepackaged ones from Kroger’s and it was way salty once I cooked it. We ate one and I cubed the other up to use in soup. Sure enough wasnt gonna trash it.

I've seen those for sale around here. Sounds like soup was the perfect option. Un-seasoned Tri Tip only made it's way around here a few weeks ago. I'm hoping it wasn't a one and done sale.
