Never heard of Peppadew cheese, or just Peppadew (had to look it up), but I like any smoked cheese. Peppadew is not available around here...

a little background music for that adventure...

HAHAHA that's perfect!

Smoking water is great for making smoked ice cubes if you happen to drink whisky/whiskey/bourbon.

Smoked cream is great for making butter as I mentioned before, but I've also smoked it for making a smoked lasagna.

Smoking Vodka is ok.. but not really worth the effort. Smoking bourbon kinda defeats the manufacturer's intentions.

I have smoked cream cheese too as was the fad a few years ago, but my version 2.0 was MUCH better.

I'm into mixed drinks...I'll have a whisky/whisky/bourbon, please, over smoked ice.

I’d be interested in hearing about your smoked cream cheese! You have a post on here about it?

I tried it once, but it kept falling through the grate! I tried it a second time, but the plastic container melted!

I'll show myself out...

This is version 1.. I thought it was terrible and vowed never to do it again.

This is version 2.0 .. and I make it a lot because it's WAY better!

I smoke cheese during the winter months so that I can keep the grill temp under 70 degrees. I "rest"
the cheese for a few hours and then vacuum pack it in 2 pound portions. I usually smoke 12-14
pounds so that I have enough for batches of smoked pimento cheese all year 'round.
Another posted mentioned to smoke kosher salt too. Good idea! Can also smoke paprika for those
recipes that can use it.
