Smoked Beef Tenderloin Filet Mignon W/Qview

I found a score at Sam's so I bought a package 7.55 a pound for choice tenderloin.


Four in the pac.



Nicely trimmed.


I picked the smallest for tonight.



Smoked for about 1 hour.


Seared for 4 min per side.



A little broccoli and mushrooms, made a good meal.

Are you sure you don't have every butcher in a 100 mile radius on your payroll? Every time they have a deal about to go out they just put in in their secret Ron drawer and give you a call to come pick it up. ?????? haha Good looking meat there Ron!!!

Yes I usually do, I just smoke in a bowl with some butter along with the steak.

I have seen others also. I can't remember where we got them.

Wait wrong thread . yes i love to smoke portabellas and then make a shrimp an crab stuffing top w/ a lil panko and fresh shaved parmisan .
Under the broiler till hot.
Ron knows the secret for getting deals on meat at sams and so do I.
The butchers here see me coming and point where to look if they have any deals.

Actually I just scan the meat case and look for the orange "Price Reduced" labels.



Easy this way.


Try it, also look for the managers specials at Krogers if the have a section there. They don't do it here anymore but I do have good connections there.
