This is my bad, I was thinking about steaks, posted chicken, while reading pork chops. So much for multitasking. Yes I have done chicken fried steak on the kettle and it was really good.

Rich that schnitzel looks fabulous. I've got a couple of double cut boneless chops in the freezer that will be transformed into this dish. Nicely done.

Point for sure

Rich, that meal is unbelievable!! Truly beautiful sir. The chops look fantastic but man, it's hard to beat those fresh baked rolls :emoji_wink: Amazing job sir.

Thanks Robert . Appreciate the comments . I'll be doing the chops again .
Mixing up bread and pasta dough is second nature . Been doing water and semolina pasta ( no eggs ) because it freezes good . Also have gotten back to making bread dough on Sundays and put it in the fridge for the week . Always ready when I am , just grab what you need and leave the rest .
Thanks again .

Was in GFS earlier this week and they had pork loin on sale. After reading this thread, I was Jonesing for some Schnitzels so grabbing that pork loin was a no brainer. Got them all portioned and now for the fun. Making my favorite jaeger schnitzels.... The fist 2 got a bit too brown as I forgot to switch my thermometer back to degrees F reading. That oil was really hot... OY!!!

Anyway, crisis averted and the schnitzels turned out fantastic. Wife even doled out a couple compliments on the job.

Enjoy...

I was Jonesing for some Schnitzels
Me too ! I had the last half leftover yesterday . Reheated in the air fryer . Just as crispy as the day it was fried .
JC , those look great . I was in Gordons yesterday myself . Saw the loins for $1.99 . I have a couple in the freezer so I passed .
Thanks for sharing .

When my dad was station in W Germany in late 70s pork was expensive or hard to find (I can't recall what mom said) so she used chicken breasts for schnitzel and we still do. We make the jager sauce too but I am partial to good ol lemon juice drizzled on and nothing else. I put the sauce on my spaetzle.

chopsaw chopsaw recently turned my onto masa and 99% sure my next schnitzel will me 50/50 masa/frying magic.
