Hello from Northern California!! Really appreciate this forum and it's community!!
What brings me here?....I just god my hands on a Dyna-Glo 43-inch wide body propane smoker. Naturally i found this site and never looked back, for the last few days I have scoured SMF for every bit of info, expertise, and experience i can put to use. Unfortunately all the mod work will have to wait....between being sick and this 'atmospheric-river' storm of the decade dealio pouring down, smoking will be delayed for a bit. Let me be the latest to confirm: patience and smoking are undeniably synonymous.
Experience: In the past I built a ceramic smoker (was a blast), also worked with an offset charcoal smoker when i was a chef.
I've dabbled in liquid smoke and every other trick and hack to get smoke flavor into food. All that being said I couldn't be more excited about this Dyna-Glo propane smoker, it's potential and ease is going to procuce many a great meal!!
Happy Smoking!!
