Hello, Just recently purchased my first smoker. It’s a Dyna-Glo analog smoker. Model # DGU505CBEW. Wanting to make some mods too it asap. It’s already working great so far. I’d love too see what you guys think I could do to it too make it even better. So far I know it needs a new temp gauge as the original seems to be pretty inaccurate according to reviews and experience. What id like to do is get a heating element plug in for it that is tied to a temp gauge that way I can set a temp and it can auto regulate. Should be easy enough to accomplish just need some recommendations on the products to do it. Also need some advice on sealing it up better for smoking in colder temps. Open to any other modifications you guys may know of to make it better.
