    nj
    2 cups elbow macaroni
    2 cups grated sharp cheese
    3 cups milk
    4 eggs
    Dash of salt
1/4 lb.(or stick) of margarine / or butter

Cook macaroni in salty water as directed.
    Drain
Put back in pot, add butter to macaroni
Whip eggs and milk, add to macaroni in pot
    Stir in cheese
Place in greased casserole (baking dish, etc.)
Bake at 350 for about 30 min, or until liquid is firm but not dry.

This is a family recipe that i have been wanting to share. Beats the heck out of that boxed stuff

what I grew up on and make to this day with small cubbed hamchunks-and WHAT no dried bread cubes sauted in a garlic butter to top with? maw would mix them in just the first inch ot 2-than bake so they stayed a little crunchy-last few minutes I throw the rest on top.oh and I like american cheese-
