Odd question about corned beef brisket

    I have some high-quality "Kobe-style" corned beef (well marbled) and I was wondering what would happen if I ground some of it like hamburger and fried it. Any reason not to try this?

    You could if you wanted, but wouldn't you rather season and smoke it and have some awesome pastrami?

    You'd probably like it better sliced thick and fried up. Or smoked as pastrami. :D
