Hello! My name is Kyle and I'm from upstate New York. I just started smoking about a month and a half ago and I love it so far. My equipment is definitely on the low quality end but I've made it work so far (trying to get some experience and making sure I really enjoy it before I invest alot of money). I first started with a little charcoal griller my dad made many years ago. So far I've done several successful pork tenderloins and several batches of pork ribs. I've just recently upgraded to a cheap char-griller that I got for a steal and I'm hoping to try my look at a brisket and a pork butt. I hope to learn alot and make some delicious food.
P.s. I tried to get images on but they wouldn't load from my phone so I'll try and put some on later

Welcome, lots of great info here. Nothing wrong with starting cheap, then figure out what you want for a different unit.
