Well, My good friend and her husband made this for me and gave it to me over our Muzzleloader hunt.

I just love it.

Me and my buddy's wife, she made me the sign and I gave her some of my summer sausage Good trade.

Here are a few pics of our hunt.

We seen more moose than elk which is odd because of all the wolves in the area,,, I guess our guys and gals are doing good on the trapping of them.

My long time friend and his wife.

Stopped by one of our neighbors camps,, no luck for them either.

Relaxing after a long cold day of hunting.

This little house can get really cold brrrrrrrrr as you can see the pond is froze all the way over.

Inside the cabin.

Hope you all enjoyed the pics,

DS

Looks like a fun time Steve! My hunting buddy got skunked on his Mule deer BP hunt last week. Saw one really small buck not worth taking that was it.

I've heard reports of more moose sightings than elk up in the northern parts of Oregon too.

Nice pics Steve, do you hear the wolves howl at night? Kind of an erie sound. Looks like the weather was good, sure is worth it just getting away like that.

Beautiful part of the country for sure!

I'd love to hang out in a cabin like that sometime, true memories right there.

  1. The sign is cool.
  2. The location looks great.
  3. The cabin looks way too cushy.
  4. Tough news about the little house.
Great post!

Beautiful cabin--a man ciuld easily live there.

Too bad about the hunting, but hunting for me is just as much about the country and griends as it is about bagging something. I've eaten tag soup more than once. LOL.
