Wow-that bottle was incredible! My Uncle sure had great taste in wines! On the tail end of the drinking window (2011-2029) and ultra smooth tannins like silk. One of the best Bordeaux Medoc Margaux wines I think I have ever had! Length of finish that just did not stop.

Outstanding meal tonight along with great company catching up with my Aunt...

Good food, good wine, and good company. Life is good.

The food looks amazing!

Looks great! I eat zucchini and pork tenderloin about 5 nights a week.

Thanks jcam! I really need to put pork tenderloin in the rotation more often. So simple and delicious!

Dang Keith, what an amazing meal. YUM!

Question as I am curious. I am trying to do low carb. I cannot do no carb.

Do you just eat the no carb portion of the meal?

Just as I say, curious on what you personally do.

So technically, Keto is less than 50 grams of carbs per day....in order to stay in Ketosis. But When I started, I was down around 15-20 grams of carbs per day. I have been at my target weight for over a year, so I have let up a little...not as strict. That is the first corn on the cob I have eaten in over a year. And, I drank alcohol, which will throw me out of ketosis anyhow...so....little corn on the cob won't hurt.

Very nice spread
2 bottles of wine?
Yep. first bottle was a 19 year old Sangiovese. We drank that with the board while prepping and cooking the meal. The 22 year old Bordeaux was served with the meal, but we opened both bottles at the same time. Let the Bordeaux breathe of a while before serving it.

Very nice Keith!! I'd be all over that board especially knowing where the meats came from...

Really nice work. Plate looks fantastic.

Thanks for the explanation, I am new to this low carb lifestyle and always appreciate when someone like yourself pumps the brakes a bit to explain what they do and why. Thank you!

Thank you GS! I'll tell ya- that Sbriciolona is fantastic! I just can't stop eating it!

Thanks SE! Impromptu meal, but it all came together. That Margaux Bordeaux was the surprise of the night. It was superb!

Good looking meal. We had similar tonight. Grilled lemon garlic tenderloin on weber served with roasted carrots, asparagus, and zucchini. No wine, but I had an IPA during the basketball game.
