Kevin, evening and welcome to the forum.... Electric smokers....  great for low and slow...  A really good addition to the smoker is the AMNPS...  a smoke generator designed and built by Todd Johnson.... a member here.....  The electric smoker combined with the AMNPS makes for a "no work" smoker... At times in the electric, chips are difficult to get smoking with a low temp.. Todd's creation solves that problem....  With it, you can cold smoke, hot smoke, smoke cheese etc...   Cruise the forum and get some ideas..... Post any questions you may have in the appropriate forum for a quick response, and you are on your way to making the best Q in your neighborhood.....  Enjoy the long smokey ride....     Dave
