Morning all,

Newbie smoker here in NJ, Just got what I think is a good grill for smoking (and other daily usage) - The Texas Trio from Char-Griller.
Spend last Saturday working on some pork ribs and some cut down pork loin (Photos attached)

Anyway, hope to get some good tips on wood to use and ideas as to new recipes to try out!

Welcome glad to have you on board.
For sure you have come to a great place to learn. By the way a great looking cook on that new grill.

Welcome from Ga. I grew up in Iselin, very close to Perth Amboy. Worked in Perth Amboy for a year in the 80's. Everything looks good on your end, a Beer in the right hand would complete you though, lol. You'll find this is the best place to be.

So I'm noticing a theme in the replies, Next photo op will definitely include a cold one of some form in hand!
