Figured I'd join in on the fray. These are my first beef ribs. They're currently still cooking. I've seen numerous opinions and to or not to foil. So I decided to foil.

Rubbed em up with some olive oil and some mojave garlic pepper.

This is after 2.5 hrs or so, just before the foil. In with the foil i have a lil worcestershire sauce, some teriyaki sauce, and some pineapple juice. We'll see what it does.

They smell awesome too. I'm hoping I give em enough time to cook,. I've seen as few as four hours and as many as seven hours. That's a hell of a difference.

Coming along nicely

'preciate it. My wife enjoyed em too, and she totally hates beef ribs. At least she did until she ate these

Looking tasty!!

Great job! Saw some yesterday at Publix.....$ wasn't as bad as I thought they would be.

They look great! What's the best wood for smoking beef ribs?

I think hickory or mesquite are great for beef. But I'd be interested in hearing (reading) what some others think.

those look awesome tbone...i've done a few sets of beef ribs and actually like them better than pork ribs....dirtsailor is correct..cherry wood is great with beef also
