For $99 it was great as a gift if nothing else! My patio is so crowded I couldn't hide it.
So since your shot of Sous Chef is waist up, should we assume he still has no pants?

I've struggled with this ever since the 14 came out. All the Mini-WSM pioneers knew it was needed. But at retail price??? At this price I had to get one, just to do side by side comparisons!

Yes sir Case. I envy you. That old Vasconia pot that fit so well is no longer available.  I know you've got some stack up like cord wood in your back yard!  You were smart to buy em while you could!  

But its not as easy to build a Mini as it use to be... Having to crimp and fit the steamer pots and what not... 

I was checking on AMZ tonight on the WSM 14.  They have it at 199. Twice the price you paid BUT still a value I think.  So you've got one heck of a deal man.  

I'm a bit sentimental about Webers as you know. I might just buy one. Let the 2 boys fight over the Texas Rangers Mini! LOL

I'll be watching for those comparisons with keen interest. 

How many fish did ya'll catch?

Yeah I'm looking forward to lighting this smoker up! It will happen tomorrow!!!

The boat limited out on rockfish for 18 people. 7 rockfish limit, you're also allowed 2 lingcod per person. The lingcod weren't biting well as the drift was up and it was tough fishing. Boat also caught 130 Dungeness crab. Since we are freeloading relatives we don't get to keep any crab.
