Maverick ET-735 Refresh Rate

Hi all,

I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced a change in the refresh rate of their maverick thermometer. For some reason it now flashes, which is annoying but whatever, but it also only updates the temp every 10-20 seconds instead of in real time. It makes it difficult to see if the adjustments I’ve made are good or too much. It always refreshed in real time before. I could watch each degree of change and judge how fast it was changing.
has anyone experienced this and know how to fix it? Thanks!

To me,
Such a thermometer with an update rate of 10-20 seconds doesn't seem too bad at all. But then again, maybe that's just me.
