She's 21 years old and gave me some great Q but I am moving to an Electric only Apartment and we must part ways. It is one of the original NB's made of very heavy gauge Steel. There is surface rust everywhere but solid with no rust through at all. The wood is weathered but not rotten and I have new custom made $80 SS Spring handles that would dress up a restore to better than original beauty. You can have the Chimney Starter and a half bag of Kingsford too. You have until 7/13 to get it or it get's Trashed.

Bring a Truck and Help, this thing is heavy and I'm too old, fat, and crippled up to do anything but supervise!. We will pop a cold one and wish her well in her new home.  Anything but Old Milwaukee Please

That sounds to me like someone is going to get a nice smoker for cheap! Sorry you have to part with the old girl Chef JimmyJ. I hope you enjoy the new one as much as you did this one.

Thanks...JJ

JJ, give me a week to get a possible OK from Trish and I'll give her a good home  , and she can live in my Stable until she is handed down ,and down again or falls apart. :)

Thanks Stan................

Trash it ?...............

Someone better step up

Smoked many a lb of meat on one just like it till the oak tree fell on it. Someone needs this smoker !!!

Jimmy, I'm about 2 hours out of harrisburg (Philly). I hate to see you trash it.

Hopefully Oldschool can give it a home if not let me know and I'll make arrangements. Would just need physical dimension to see if it would fit in a Suburban I think I can squeeze it in next to frank.

What Kind of beer do you prefer?

It would be nice to meet a fellow smoker.

Stan, let me know what the Mrs. says. That's quite a haul for you.

SQWIB, I'm not real picky. I have not been able to get Stegmaier Gold Medal out of Wilkesbarre...or... If you have a favorite Bock Beer, that would be fun too...JJ

So, Happy Christmas in July Sqwib...

Have fun and send pics of her , is it a RED RIVER model?

Gotta know......LOL

I kind of figured the between the beer and $80 in gas round trip, it was getting prohibitive...JJ

Sorry to hear that Oldschool, yes there will be many photos, you know me.

Chef, send me the physical dimension and an approximate weight if you know it.

If it wont fit in the suburban I have a 500lb cargo hitch that may work.

Was going to try to shoot up there Friday next week, Leaving work around 3pm, figured I 'd beat the Turnpike traffic giving me enough time to load up and throw back a beer with you. Let me know if this is ok.

I plan on using this smoker for a season and give it to a friend that really wants to get into the craft.

Any Preference on a Bock or do you prefer the Stegmaier?

My BIL has the same exact smoker and it sits out in the weather year round, every time I see it I say we should fix it up. He looks at me like it doesn't need fixing, well the bottom is almost rested out... such a shame.

email me your physical address and Phone number

[email protected]

you can always take off the smoke stack to make it fit.......

SQWIB, I sent an email, Friday no good. I understand Yeungling makes a Bock but don't know if it is seasonal, but seriously anything. I have not had Stegmaier in 40 years, first one was at Grandpa's house as a kid....JJ

The actual dimensions are 52 long, SFB to end of Smoke Chamber, and ground to top of stack is 49".The ground to top of the Smoke chamber, no stack, is 42". The stack is bolted in but the bolts are really rusty. The stand dimensions are 33"L X 27"W. Leg mounting bolts are equally rusted...JJ

If you are going to try disassembly, bring tools I have none...JJ

Well, the NB is gone and a great time was spent with SQWIB and his Brother. The Beer was cold and the conversation was about Q...Don't get much better than that!...JJ
