Original New Braunfels Chuckwagon Cooker # YS497 built last century. It was purchased new in 1999 by a family friend who sold it to me. This 1/4" steel smoker is built to last. Original NB company label is still visible on left under handle.
16"x30" cookside, 16"x16" firebox.
Sanded and repainted in 2017 with high temp paint, modified with a 5" adjustable reverse flow smoke stack, added thermometers on both ends (left the original in place) and added adjustable smoke tuning/baffle plates. It cooks a little hotter so aim for 240 if you want a target temp of 250.
It's a great smoker I just don't have the time to cook with it anymore. It needs to go to a good home with someone who appreciates how well built these old NB Chuckwagon Cooker smokers are.
