While I'm doing a few pork butts this weekend I thought I'd try a large cut of beef on my "SpitJack". What would be the largest cut of beef I could get that would work on a spit. Big crowd showing up. Need a large cut. Thanks for any input. See picture. The spit is set up in front of the fireplace, to the right is the smoker, to the left is the pizza oven

How many people do you have to feed and how much weight can your spit handle? A whole round weighs about 70-85 lbs., top rounds weigh about 20 - 30 lbs. I used to spitroast top rounds for large parties, usually 5 or 6 of them at one time (spit fit on a haywagon, that's how big it was, lol!). Are you going to slice thin for sandwiches?
