Its about time...

We get so busy during the kids wrestling season, our weekends are spent on the road and life is just as busy as it can be. But the season has ended, and I walked out of church this morning and thought... " today seems like a good day to smoke some ribs and watch the Rockies & Avalanche".

Gave this one the 2 bite test...

Found time on Friday to head down to the big city and catch a snowy Rockies game too...

The kids even got a signed ball from Brenton Doyle, they were stoked

Feels like forever ago since I posted anything, figured I'd share.

Looks good to me! My wife said it was past time for me to do some ribs, but it will have to wait a couple of days. Rib eyes on the grill for tomorrow's dinner, so I guess I can pull some ribs out of the freezer tomorrow and smoke them the next day. Still need to do some pulled pork but trying to hold off when my brother-in-law and niece come to visit in the summer.

Those ribs look wonderful John, done perfectly! Pam has asked for ribs recently and we have been on the lookout for some nice back ribs so it's going to get done.

Looks like it was a good day for a Rockies game. We have the Giants here, but it is not always easy to get tickets ($$$). Of course the ballpark makes 6x more on food and beer.

The ribs look KILL'ER, I need to pick some up to make for my Dad, he's still not doing very well. Although I know he will eat ribs, they are his favorite food, and we need to try to fatten him up a bit, he has lost so much weight, and they won't do the needed surgery until he puts on a few more pounds

Thanks Jim. Tickets can be pretty reasonable there, depending on the seats of course, but food and drink are outrageous.
