And also because it gives me a good reason to test out one of our new experimental rubs in development, Cantina Chaos.

Seasoned up some 80/20 heavily with the new blend and rolled into 3 oz balls. Lubed up the Flat-Iron with some butter, tossed the tortillas on, topped with a taco meat ball, and smashed. Flipped, gave another press, and flipped again to top with cheese.

Garnished with some pico de gallo, crema, and a squeese of lime. Served with cilantro lime rice and refried beans.

.....and I forgot to grab a 6'er of Modelo while I was out, so washed down with a Dr. Pepper.

I was also able to stash one away to heat up for a snack later before the family got their grubby hands on them. Glad I did, because there's nothing left. 😆

Looks really good! I'll be that seasoning is tasty.

YES! I need some of those!

Man! That looks great! Never heard of this before. Sounds like great camping food there!

Smashed Tacos....now why is this the first time I've ever seen this????? Looks awesome!
I don't know, but we've been doing these for a few years now because they're so dang easy, can be prepped and cooked in less than 15 mins (not counting time to clean the griddle). And CHEAP. 2 lbs of ground beef and a pack or tortillas makes 15 or so of these and feeds the family of 4 for less than $10.

Is Quigleys GF? If so I need some to try…..
Not certified as GF, but we don't add any fillers, anti-caking agents, etc. I can't say with 100% certainty that it's GF as gluten has a tendency to sneak its way into certain things, but I can say we have folks with gluten intolerance that use our stuff with no issues. YMMV.
