hello all, nice to meet you.
I'm in Northern Alberta, and have started to experiment with smoking meat this summer. I grew up around smoking as my Dad did a lot of it, and his friends also.They had all kinds of smokers, old fridges, store bought ones, lots of Magyver stuff. I bought a Weber gold kettle charcoal bbq and that is what i plan on using, i like the way food cooks on charcoal.So I'm here to try and get good at smoking meat, making jerky, maybe sausage, chickens and turkey. I am a hunter so I always have some elk or whitetail deer in the freezer......Murphy
