I've had a little experience with smoking. Mostly on a vertical gas smoker. Does pretty well but its 15 years old and I'm looking to upgrade. I'm looking at getting a Pit Boss Pro 1300. I picked it because after doing a lot of research, it looks to be the size of smoker, for turkey and larger cuts of meat that I'm looking for. Any advice is appreciated. Ready to get a lot deeper into Smoking Meats. I'm a fair to middl'n cook indoors but want to expand my knowledge on Smoked Meats.
Thanks In Advance.

As you learn please share with photos. The members can help with lot of hidden details.
The search feature is a valuable tool as well.

I've got a different pellet pooper. They have their place and time.
Get a pellet tube to amp up the smoke flavor.

Welcome from California.

I'm still using a 24" Smoke Vault vertical smoker. Love the consistency of propane. Enjoy the new experience, and welcome to the group. It's a great group of folks with a boat-load on knowledge.
