I just moved up North this year after 40 years in the South........all I can say is I have never been so happy to have a Stumps and a guru as I have been since the cold weather set in.

you dont spend much time outside if you have a WSM....

smoked 11+ hours each of the last 2 weekends, and maybe spent 20 minutes outside each weekend.

As I sit here in 70 degree weather with the sun out, I envy you guys with snow. I am originally from Michigan and have missed the snow ever since I moved.

Heck I did that last weekend in Mesquite Texas .. put a thermostat in my son's mustang with it being 17 degrees in shorts , flip flops and a t- shirt ..he had no heater and his g/f was getting mad . Oh did i say I did it in 5 minutes periods and still pulled every muscle in my left shoulder leaning over the car . I even had ice hot on my shoulder ... still hurt it ..

I really like watt burner blue smoke puffing ECB

YEAH! That's what I'm talking about! :D Although I cant see the beer in this picture, I assume its around the corner in the snow staying cold.

Yous guys up there can keep anytemp below 65 up there with yous guys ok. I like it hot down here.

The ice on the steps thawed real early and now I'm in shorts finishing a fattie, pastrami and beers. I need to clarify....I've fished in 15 degree weather and smoked meat in 15 degree weather. And that picture of FIU is insane but i will do it till the day I die. I'm not sure there is anything else I would do in that weather.

My wife sent me some pics she got that had cars covered underd 10 ft of snow. 1 pic showed a front door open, snowed in and holes dug in the face for beers.

I also complain about mowing the yard in 103 degree weather...imagine that.

Well I have to be honest here. Yea, I do harass the southern half of the country about them not wanting to smoke when it hits 40 degrees out. But I tell ya, when I go out to Cornville Arizona to visit and my mother-in-law asks me to mow the grass and it's 104 outside, I sorta just cringe and say sure, no problem. When in reality, I thinkin she is totally insane especially when I walk across the grass and it sounds like your walkin in snow cause it's totally dead any way. I just don't know if I could smoke much when it's over a hundred degrees out. But, it looks I might be findin out in the next couple of years.

95 + is good grillin weather...sweat adds flavor. And for the record, AZ has a dry heat....here the humidity stays around 85%+. I do love it though.

I worked at a marina/campground for a couple of years mowing, landscaping...whatever the old man wanted me to do. 1 4th of July it got up to 100+, I was pumping gas and stuff for the boats drinking T & V. Iced tea and vodka. Holy smokes I got wasted as a bicycle. I drove my boat to work that day. I didn't get home till 3 days later. It was a fun weekend!

Yeah I lived in Florida for 11 months, and pretty much hated my commute home in my '97 civic with barely working AC on I-95 for 1.5 hours.

Or swimming through the air in 100% humidity!
