Hello everybody! I grew up in a small town with my Dad smoking meats nearly every weekend of my life. He made his own smoker out of an old propane tank mounted on a small flatbed trailer. I'm now in my mid-40's and haven't really had the chance to do alot of smoking in many years. I decided it was time to get back into making some tasty meats but in order to make things a little easier I decided to buy an electrical smoker. I ended up with the 40" MES. My first smoke was an 8 lb pork butt that took way longer than it should have but you cook and you learn! Can't wait to try out some recipes on here!
