has anyone spun spare ribs?? i have a plan for this but just wondering if anyone has.. i'm taking them out today.. i still spin butt's and oh so nice a color and only takes 5 hrs.. i put the wood on burner n nice smoke

I've thought about it but never tried it. My rotisserie is for an open fire Santa Maria style and might work for ribs but I don't know about butts.
 
I may have to get some dates. Fill with goat cheese and wrap in bacon than grill. Mmm

i dont normally do lots a pics but maybe i should this time..my grill is a very good smoker, my plans for supporting on rod is bamboo and needle n twine. bone side out as the only pics of spun butt's that i could find were mine..

I have a spinning basket for my Napoleon monster grill. unfortuntely not big enough for a slab. works with veggies and wings, but that's about it.
