since this is "shooting the breeze. what's y'alls holiday weekend menu? I AM at a loss. we've done so many ribs recently and still have 5lb's of primo smoked butt in he freezer.
just two of us. was thanking yard bird, but that goes on the ginormous Napoleon with rotisserie.

Empty nesters, too.
Burgers is always my wife's first request off the grill. Pork chops is a 2nd.
After that we do chicken thighs or fish. Also is option of shrimp or steak skewers.
Once in awhile, I put a griddle in the grill and fry bratwurst and sauerkraut in the brat fat.

I need to do a rack of ribs as my frozen stock is depleted. I re-heat them on tractor engines for a meal during field work.

It's very unfortunate but my HOA is in the process of replacing of sidings around my house this and next weeks. As I have very small, narrow backyard, I had to move all my smokers and grills away from the house toward to my fence - to give construction workers more room t o build their scaffolding... No good food this weekend for me... :emoji_disappointed:

When your retired it’s just another Day, but I will probably fire up something. It’s so hot here, it will probably be something simple.

Yeah it's too hot to cook so I'm thinking about posting some pics from Robert ( tx smoker tx smoker )

I know your just joshing, but one member actually did post another members pic(s) w/o giving due credit. That member is no longer a member. I'm sure there was more to their dismissal then that, but it sure didn't help their cause. Another member also jokingly suggested creating numerous burner accounts for voting purposes. I don't think he ever did it, but he is also gone.

Just got the menu from the family. Beef steak kabobs over the fire, yard bird over the fire, and ribs in my "portable" cooker. Sounds like good eating all weekend!
 
I am going to Mi next week so getting a head start. Brisket going on in morning. Think it time for the WSM to see some action. When it freaking hot out easier to just us RecTec. Some Jeff's baked beans and tater salad. Going to use the smokeds flat for Jake's chili if it starts to cool down.
