Hello to everyone. I was born & raised in North Carolina, where of course I learned to love BBQ. Now I live in central Jersey, after a 14-year stopover in Pennsylvania. I’ve been grilling for as long as I’ve known how to strike a match, but I just started smoking low & slow about 3 years ago. My smoker — a Char-Broil Silver Smoker I got at Home Depot for under $200 — is nothing to brag about, but I’ve gotten consistently good results and I have no complaints. Mostly I’ve used it for pork ribs and for chicken, but I have also done beef ribs a few times. I plan to try a brisket sometime soon. I’m glad to have found this forum and I look forward to hanging around here. Cheers.
