Hello from California

Hi all,

I have been visiting your site for the past two years, when I built my UDS ( and I mean "U"). I found a lot of great tips and ideas when I needed them during the build. I have used the heck out of it and have come to love smoking meat. I used to be a propane bbq'er but this summer I decided to ditch the bbq and use my UDS for both, I couldn't be happier. I enjoy it so much I have decided to design and build a horizontal RF smoker on a trailer and possibly hit up some local events next year. We will see where that takes me.

Anyway I just wanted to say hi to everyone and thank you for the advise I have been poaching for the past two years. I am sure I will have some questions regarding my build and I will be coming here to find whatever advice I can. I will also be happy to pass on whatever I learn to others.

Sorry for the failed quote and reply. I thought I had it figured out but it appears I failed miserably.
Anyway, Fishwrestler, I'm really more central CA. About and hour and a half northeast of LA but definatley don't consider it SoCal.
