Guys I tell ya, when the job has me more than a good bit irritated, when its been a long day with no lunch and I'm hangry, nothing soothes the soul like a good steak.
And cooking helps too, gets the mind off everything else.

Menu
Grilled Ribeyes
Grilled Carrots with Honey Soy Sesame Glaze
Grilled Chiles and Bell Pepper

These carrots are simply fantastic
And the sauce can be varied by simple substitution of one ingredient.
Either sesame, garlic or ginger, and all are very good.

Now I'm hangry.
Curse you Red Barron!

Sure looks delicious!
I'm going to have to go root around.
Maybe I can find some Pork Chops....

Edit In:
Dayam, Chili!
You just saved my butt. And everything else in my chest freezer.
I went out there to rummage around and stuff in top was beginning to thaw.
So I dunno if the top was cracked open or what. But a quick check showed just a few things softening but still had crystals. The stuff below was froze.
I need a freezer alarm out there. o_O

Well? Did ya find something to eat?
Glad ya caught that freezer before it melted down, that'd been horrible.

Looks great! Ribeye for the money is by far my favorite cut of steak. Hose are done just right!

If there’s one food I don’t want to live without, it’d have to be grilled ribeye steak! And yours looks terrific Chile...nicely done! :emoji_ok_hand: :emoji_clap:

Very kind of ya, appreciate the compliments and Like.
Do try the carrots, and the sauces go great on all sorts of veggies, poultry and pork.

Hey Chile,
Does this sound about right?
This gives me something to do with a big bottle of Sake I was given that I've never opened. (If it doesn't smell like a 1,000 year old duck egg, when I do open it.)
I'll have to get some sez-a-me-oil, and sneak in some fresh Ginger.
But first see if the Sake is good. Not that I know the difference. :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Soy-Honey-Sesame Glaze
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce.
  • 1/4 cup sake or rice wine.
  • 1/4 cup honey.
  • 1 Tbs. minced fresh ginger.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced.
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard.
  • 2 Tbs. toasted sesame oil.
