Used Jeff's Coconut Jerk marinade on a Pork Steak. First put some tenderizer on it and waited one hour. I used coconut cream as that all I buy anymore. Vacuum sealed. Ended up going 2 days as when I got home from river Sunday it was so hot and did not feel like messing with the grill. Just did a shrimp boil.

Used the upside down vortex. Grilled over hot fire about 4 minutes one side and 2 the other. Going for medium. Made some fried cabbage and cucumber salad with an avocado lime dressing. Wow this was good! That Walkswood can be pretty spicy which I like but mixing it with that coconut really tames it down but all the flavors are there. Steak was very tender and juicy.

Looks a little rarer than it was in that last pic. Here another. Was a perfect medium for me.

Looks great! I'm going to have to do some pork steaks soon
This one was really good. Could of used some more heat but flavor was great. I have some Walkerswood Spicy Jerk BBQ Sauce I might use next time. Carbs not to bad on it. 2 Tbsp is 7 carbs.

Wow, that looks awesome. I am going to have to try that. I love the Walkerswood jerk paste. A friend of mine asked me about how to do jerk chicken and pork. I sent him to the store for some Walkerswood jerk paste and he took third place in the Jamaican jerk competition he was in. Never thought about using coconut milk as a marinade. Thanks for posting. :emoji_yum: :emoji_blush:

Thanks Jeff. That Walkerswood is awesome stuff! My favorite is Pork Tenderloin with it. Jeff really on to something with the coconut.
