Good day all! I'm new to smoking, but have grilled for nearly 30 years. The past two people I work with both owned smokers and always bragged about the delicious meats they smoke over the weekends. My current co-worker is a competition smoker, and his exploits have made me cave in. Since I'm a novice, I found a Pit Boss pellet grill on sale and went for it. I figured a pellet smoker grill will give me a few years of experience before mastering the times and tastes, before moving on to a charcoal/wood smoker. It's pretty fail-proof, as my first four racks of ribs came out great, and I'm thinking of moving up to a full brisket over the weekend. Anyway, thank you for all the great articles and notes I've read on here, as the ease of use instructed by everyone is another reason I decided to get a smoker. I know this community will have tons of great advice for me. Cheers to good eats and good treats.
